We are a network of 6000+ alums nationwide. We are 1200 strong in elected office and counting, with a 74% win rate in 2023, when we elected nearly 250 women to office.

Emerge women are leading at all levels of government, from school boards and city councils to governor's offices and Congress.

We are the only organization in the nation focused on recruiting, training, and electing Democrats with a background in science to public office.

There isn’t an issue that doesn’t benefit from having scientists at the decision-making table – from climate change to reproductive healthcare, scientists are data-driven who will champion fact-based policies.

Our mission is to secure equal civil and human rights for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender South Carolinians and their families.

We want to keep LGBTQ young people safe in our schools, to ensure that transgender people have access to accurate identity documents and critical health care services, and to ensure that LGBTQ persons are protected in the workplace.

Gun Sense Voter is a campaign of Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund, along with the volunteer grassroots networks Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action. We’re a non-partisan grassroots movement of people organizing to elect candidates who support common-sense gun safety laws at every level of government.

We endorse and campaign for candidates who advocate for accessible reproductive healthcare, protect access to abortion, support LGBTQ+ rights, and work for equity of people and their families.
